The City of San Diego is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Design-Build services for the Ocean Beach Branch Library. The project includes demolition of the adjacent building, remodel of the existing library, and construction of a new extension. The Design-Builder will be responsible for design, construction, and startup of the project. • The project has an estimated cost of $9,220,000.00. • The project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and the City's Equal Opportunity Contracting Program. • The Design-Builder must comply with prevailing wage rates and apprenticeship requirements. • The project will receive funding from multiple sources, including State and Federal funds. • The project is subject to requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and HUD's NEPA-implementing regulations.
