The Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) is seeking proposals from qualified training providers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality professional development training for early childhood educators, administrators, trainers, and coaches within the Agency’s designated service area. The training services should align with the Texas Core Competency Areas and comply with applicable Child Care Regulations and Texas Rising Star criteria. The contractor will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering childcare professional development training services, including creating and managing registration, tracking participant attendance, and providing training materials and certificates. • The training program should cover topics such as child growth and development, developmentally appropriate practices, health, safety, and regulatory compliance, trauma-informed and social emotional care, and inclusive practices and serving diverse learners. • The contractor must demonstrate a minimum of two years of documented experience providing professional development training services in early childhood education, child development, or childcare provider training. • The contractor must ensure that all trainers meet applicable SB265 qualifications and demonstrate relevant experience in childcare professional development.
