The Louisiana State University is soliciting bids for the rental of a Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit housed in a mobile trailer for the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. The equipment will be used for small animal treatment. The supplier must provide a 1.5T Echelon (or equivalent) superconducting Mobile MRI with patient lift, coils necessary for scanning small animal brains and spines, and other peripheral equipment. The equipment must be housed in a certified Medical Coach on LSU’s campus and the supplier must be registered and up to date with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The machine must be fully functional by Aug 4, 2025, and the equipment and unit are scheduled to be onsite from Aug 4, 2025 to November 14, 2025. • The supplier must deliver equipment and mobile unit to LSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and perform all necessary installations. • The supplier must provide onsite training and support for the initial setup by Aug 4, 2025, and ongoing support for the duration of the rental period. • The supplier must provide a price per week and payments will be made on a weekly basis per standard LSU payment terms. • The supplier must be registered and up to date with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to conduct business in Louisiana. • The mobile unit must also be registered with DEQ and maintain a reciprocity certificate for the duration of its time on the LSU campus.
