The City of Long Beach, Fleet Services Bureau is seeking to purchase one current model mobile shower trailer with four stations. The trailer is intended to maximize the ability of the city and neighboring jurisdiction to convert community centers into emergency shelters in the event of a disaster. The deadline to deliver the trailer will be six months from the date that purchase order is issued. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for one additional one-year period. • The trailer must have four stations, including one ADA compliance station. • The contractor shall warrant/guarantee all parts and work done against failure due to defective material and/or faulty workmanship from date of acceptance of the work by the City of Long Beach for a minimum of one year. • The City of Long Beach has a local preference provision, which may reduce the bid price of Long Beach-based businesses by ten percent. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
