The Fort Valley Utility Commission is seeking sealed proposals for the construction of new water supply wells, elevated water storage tank, water treatment plants, and water mains located along Fulwood Road and River Road in Peach County, GA. The scope of work includes permitting, clearing, grassing, earthwork, grading, erosion control, gravel access road, landscaping, fencing, painting, chemical treatment equipment, equipment building, electrical components, SCADA, piping, fittings, valves, and all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances associated with a new water treatment plant as shown on the plans and in the specifications. • The project is federally and state funded through the Water and Sewer Infrastructure, State Fiscal Recovery Funds (SFRF) program under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA). • The project is eligible through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and will be required to comply with the Clean Water Act and applicable state and local laws. • A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 16, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Fort Valley Utility Commission. • The successful low, responsive, responsible bidder must provide to the Owner written oath in accordance with O.C.G.A §36–91–21(e), certifying that the Contractor has not acted alone or otherwise to prevent or attempt to prevent competition in bidding or proposal for said project by any means whatsoever.
