Mott Community College is seeking a mechanical contractor to serve as a single prime for the mechanical systems upgrades to occur at the Gorman Science Building. The project includes selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, high-performance coatings, common mechanical requirements, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. The contractor must have a minimum of five years of successful experience completing similar projects and must assign a competent project manager. The project is expected to start on October 1, 2025, and be substantially completed by August 28, 2026. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on all materials and labor. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance before commencing work. • The contractor must submit a complete list of all subcontractors, material and equipment suppliers, and the name of the person the contractor intends to assign as project manager within 72 hours of notification. • The contractor must provide as-built drawings and operational, maintenance, and warranty information for installed products, systems, materials, and equipment.
