Description:
The City of Buda is seeking architectural services for the preservation and repair of two historic structures, the McElroy-Severn House and the Onion Creek Post Office. The selected firm will be required to have experience with the Texas Historical Commission's regulations regarding Registered Historic Landmarks in Central Texas. The scope of work includes designing a drainage improvement plan, conducting an engineer evaluation of past foundation and floor system modifications, consulting with historical preservationists, and developing a mitigation plan to address masonry degradation mechanisms.
