The U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal requires annual maintenance contract services for two OTIS elevators at the Chancery. The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies to maintain the elevators in safe and efficient operating condition. The contract will be for a one-year period with four optional one-year periods. The contractor will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed, and will also provide emergency response services. * Key services include: • Routine monthly maintenance for all elevators • 24 hours/day, 7 days/week emergency response service • Non-emergency response service within one working day • Callback service within three hours for repeat malfunctions • Maintenance of elevator equipment rooms and machinery • Examination, lubrication, adjustment, repair, and replacement of elevator parts and components * The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, cleanliness, appearance, and integrity, and for taking disciplinary action as necessary.
