The City of Woodstock, Georgia, is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of new sidewalk infrastructure along Dupree Road. The project aims to improve pedestrian access and safety by installing approximately 1,300 square yards of new 4-inch-thick, 8-foot-wide concrete sidewalk/multi-use trail compliant with ADA standards. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, grading and excavation, sidewalk construction, stormwater improvements, driveway crossings and curb cuts, and restoration and landscaping. The project is expected to be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days. Key requirements include: • Site preparation and removal of existing obstacles, vegetation, and debris • Grading and excavation to establish a stable subgrade for sidewalk installation • Installation of new sidewalk/multi-use trail with detectable warning surfaces at curb ramps and intersections • Stormwater improvements, including the installation of concrete and gutter • Driveway crossings and curb cuts, with maintenance of existing driveways during construction • Restoration and landscaping of disturbed areas The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and the contract will be awarded based on the best interest of the City.
