The Florida Department of Health (DOH) is seeking to purchase a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the Cannabis Laboratory. The system should support testing of medical marijuana and medical marijuana products, including software configuration and custom reports. The current system used by the Cannabis Laboratory allows for flexibility, integration of instrumentation, inventory module, barcoding, and QA/QC module. The system also has a web portal for secure access to real-time laboratory data. Key features of the LIMS include: • Flexibility to make changes as needed • Integration of instrumentation used by the cannabis laboratory • Inventory module to track samples from receipt to disposal • Barcoding (1D, 2D, and QR codes) • Integrated QA/QC module • Web portal for secure access to real-time laboratory data • Auditing of all entries throughout the lifetime of the system
