Description:
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is conducting a market research to explore vendors' recommended technology stack to help support the Life Outcomes Improvement System (LOIS) Project. The LOIS Project is an essential information technology modernization initiative to implement an integrated, data-first, cloud-based solution(s) to support comprehensive case management, financial management, service delivery operations, and program management and oversight. Key aspects of the project include: * Implementing a Medallion architecture with data transformation and cleansing requirements * Integrating with DDS's LLM and Agents systems * Meeting compliance standards and requirements, including HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, DSM-V, AAIDD SIS, DABS, and National Core Indicators * Providing a unified data model and master data management * Ensuring data quality, security, and privacy * Supporting multiple languages and culturally appropriate terminology * Integrating with existing systems, including SANDIS, UFS, eBilling, ER2000/AS400, and FPIBS. Some of the key questions and responses from the RFI include: * What is the expected Data retention policy? * Is DDS expecting any Document Processing to be implemented? * How should the Medallion architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) be implemented? * What are the specific technical requirements for integrating with DDS's LLM and Agents systems? * What are the data requirements and quality standards for AI/ML model training and inference? * What are the expectations for interoperability and integration with existing DDS data catalog, metadata management, or data lineage capabilities?

Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as it is a Request for Information (RFI) rather than a Request for Proposal (RFP). However, based on the scope and complexity of the project, it is likely that the contract value will be in the tens of millions of dollars. The final budget will depend on the specific solution and vendor selected, as well as the terms of the contract. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the level of customization required, the number of users and locations supported, and the level of integration with existing systems.
