Description:
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to supply and install two Type 1 Reagent Grade Laboratory Water Filtration Systems at the 59th Medical Wing Wilford Hall, JBSA Lackland, TX. The systems must meet the water quality standards required for sensitive laboratory and research applications. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary tools, labor, equipment, materials, services, personnel, training, and shipping. The contractor must also ensure that the water purification system includes appropriate filtration, such as 0.22 µm membrane filters, to produce CLRW. Key requirements include: • Meeting the water quality standards for TOC, resistivity, and bacterial contamination • Providing a system that can produce CLRW with a resistivity of 10 megaohm@25C • Including a water pretreatment system, if proposed, to support longer system life or improved performance • Regularly testing the purified water to ensure it meets the specifications • Providing documentation and validation protocols to verify conformance with water quality standards
