Description:
The Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Asbestos Abatement and Related Services. The services include the removal of asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) such as vinyl floor tile, ceiling tile, and thermal system insulation. The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supervision, permits, and other incidentals required to perform the work. The contract will be for a period of three years with two optional one-year renewal terms. The vendor must be licensed under the Maryland COMAR Regulations pertaining to asbestos removal and must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and County regulations. • The vendor must have at least three years of experience in asbestos abatement and related services. • The vendor must have experience in working on projects of similar size and scope to PGCPS. • The vendor must provide a minimum of three recent/past performance references for contracted work of similar response time and scale to PGCPS. • The vendor must identify and describe technical requirements, hardware, software, and processing requirements necessary for PGCPS to fully interface with the vendor's curriculum, record-keeping, and data management. • The vendor must maintain an Abatement Supervisor onsite at all times during the project. • The vendor must provide appropriate notification to applicable regulatory agencies.
