The Los Angeles Unified School District is seeking a contractor to replace approximately 86,450 square feet of existing synthetic turf at Aspire Juanita Tate Academy ES. The project includes new perimeter drainage, new irrigation controller, new booster pump, and accessible improvements to elements serving the field along the path of travel. The contractor will be selected through a two-step solicitation process, with the first step evaluating the contractor's statement of qualifications and the second step evaluating the price bid. The contractor must hold a B - General Building Contractor license and meet other requirements specified in the RFQ. • The project is expected to start in November 2025 and be completed within 300 calendar days. • The contractor must provide a lump-sum, fixed-price contract for the construction of the project. • The project is bond funded and subject to the District's Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA) and prevailing wage requirements. • The contractor must comply with the District's labor compliance requirements and apprenticeship requirements. • The contractor must provide evidence of their success in reaching or exceeding the District's SBE and VBE participation goals. • The contractor must submit a pre-qualification questionnaire and be pre-qualified by the District at least five business days prior to the SOQ due date.
