The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for leasing vehicles in Bahrain. The government intends to award one contract as a result of this RFQ. The acquisition is not a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rated procurement. The RFQ is being solicited as Full and Open Competition. • The lease duration is 12 to 24 months. • The vehicle specifications include a 6.5 ton GVW, single cab chassis, wide body with three drop gates truck, manual transmission, and diesel engine. • The vehicle will be used for freight transportation. • The contractor is responsible for maintenance services, including statutory inspection and maintenance, continuous inspection and maintenance, general maintenance and troubleshooting, oil change and refill, puncture repair, and battery replacement. • The contract includes the cost of Kingdom of Bahrain registration and full insurance fee.
