The Menifee Union School District is seeking proposals for an after-school learning program that focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. The program should provide high-quality educational enrichment opportunities for students in grades TK-6, including areas such as athletics, technology, arts and music, Spanish, financial literacy, cooking, leadership skills, and character development. The daily schedule will include two 1-hour sessions, and the program should operate with a minimum staff-to-student ratio of 1:20 for grades 1-6 and 1:10 for TK and K. • The program should be pupil-centered, results-driven, and include community partners. • The program should complement, but not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day. • The program should provide opportunities for service learning and community service. • The program should improve the academic performance of students who are performing below grade level. • The program should demonstrate community partnership in delivering programs and services to children and families.
