The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to modernize their wireless infrastructure. The selected vendor will provide services including project management oversight, service planning, architecture and design, design and configuration, startup support, development, validation testing, as-built documentation, and post-deployment support. The project aims to provide better security, increase visibility and troubleshooting of devices connecting to the wireless network, upgrade the code base running on the infrastructure, and enhance the architecture implemented to support the wireless system. The vendor will work with OhioMHAS to modernize their existing Aruba wireless system, which includes 9 Aruba Controllers and 1300 Access Points installed at 8 primary locations and several remote locations. Key aspects of the project include: • Modernizing the configuration of the wireless system • Providing better security and increasing visibility and troubleshooting of devices • Upgrading the code base running on the infrastructure • Enhancing the architecture implemented to support the wireless system • Working with OhioMHAS to modernize their existing Aruba wireless system
