The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to redesign and refresh the Club lounge at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany. The contractor will be responsible for completing all tasks with attention to quality, durability, safety, and aesthetics. The scope of work includes disassembling old TV displays, installing a new LED wall, implementing a modern theme, and providing new furniture and appliances. The contractor must ensure that all designs comply with applicable fire codes, health regulations, safety standards, and local building requirements. Some key tasks include: • Disassembling six old TV displays • Installing a 209" LED wall • Implementing a modern theme throughout the lounge • Providing new furniture and appliances, including high-top tables, chairs, and stools • Extending the bar service/counter by 3.5m • Modernizing the front panel of the bar with wood or a complementary metal finish • Installing a wooden swinging service door and an additional water line and sink • Replacing wall paneling throughout the lounge • Removing the small partition on the wall in the lounge area and repairing the floor, ceiling, and wall • Installing an industrial under-counter ice machine and an automatic commercial touchscreen coffee machine • Providing sound-absorbing acoustic panels in the bar area ceiling The contractor must maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure a safe working environment throughout the project.
