The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from vendors regarding their ability to provide a Healthcare Provider Credentialing and Privileging Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Credentialing-as-a-Service (CaaS) solution. The solution should be able to support the VA's credentialing and privileging operations, including the management of provider credentials, privileging, and licensure. The VA is looking for a solution that can provide a complete credentialing and privileging package, including electronic access to credentialing files and electronic privileging software. The solution should also be able to integrate with the VA's existing systems, including VistA and the federal health record. Some key features and requirements of the solution include: • Support for concurrent end users across the VA enterprise without impeding functionality • Continuous monitoring of all time-limited credentials for all VA healthcare providers • Automatic generation of temporary privileging rules • Ability to add, modify, and delete user roles and permissions • Support for role-based access control and granular enforcement across users, applications, and data • Compliance with VA policies and industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, and performance • Ability to provide a complete credentialing and privileging package, including electronic access to credentialing files and electronic privileging software • Integration with VistA and the federal health record • Support for 30K-50K logins monthly • Ability to handle 350,000 unique users, of which 300,000 are internal VA users
