The Office of the Public Defender is seeking a strategic communications partner to provide services including account management, event planning, media relations, material development, crisis communication, and development and utilization of social and digital media. The partner will help elevate the visibility of the Office of the Public Defender, shape public understanding, and strengthen trust in the mission, impact, and value of public defense throughout the state. The contract will be for a base period of one year with an option for an additional year. • Key responsibilities include: • Developing a detailed communications plan and timeline • Assigning a dedicated account manager • Providing media relations and material development services • Developing and executing digital campaigns • Providing crisis communications support • Evaluating and reporting on the success of PR efforts
