Description:
The project involves resurfacing the parking lots at the Hillsboro Armory, located at 3011 Starr Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to complete the project. The project includes proof-rolling the existing base material, installing a 2-inch thick base course and surface course of bituminous concrete, grading shoulders, and installing topsoil and grass seed. The contractor must also provide and install concrete wheel stops, paint traffic lines, and install ADA signage. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days of the notice to proceed. Key features of the project include: • Resurfacing approximately 75,200 sf of parking lots • Installing approximately 1,180 lf of single white traffic line • Providing and installing 33 concrete wheel stops • Restoring the site to pre-construction condition, including grading, seeding, and mulching all disturbed areas • Removing and properly disposing of all debris off state property
