The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Watervliet Arsenal (ACC-WVA) is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for the manufacture of a customized machine base for cannon manufacturing process equipment. The machine base should meet specific requirements and specifications, including dimensions, weight capacity, and features such as primary and secondary linear motion guide rails. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, installation, and startup of the machine, as well as providing a standard commercial warranty and technical support. • The machine base must meet minimum requirements for alignment and accuracy characteristics. • The contractor must provide a design concept, final approved design, and fabricated machine base that conforms to the specified requirements. • The machine base will be used for cannon manufacturing process equipment. • The contractor will be responsible for securing wood block flooring and installing any necessary leveling pads. • A site visit to the Watervliet Arsenal is highly encouraged after contract award.
