Notice Inviting Bids Bid Acceptance and Opening.The City of Tracy (“City”), will accept sealed bids for its Gretchen Talley Park – Phase III Project, CIP 78170 (“Project”), by or before Thursday May 8, 2025, at 2:00p.m., at the City Clerk’s Office,2nd Floor, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, California, 95376. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in Conference Room 203.Attendees may also attend via Microsoft Teams Meeting: +1 209-425-4338 – Phone Conference ID843 291 338# Location and Description.The Project is located at 1551 Dove Drive, Tracy, CA 95376. Work includes but not limited to: Demolition of existing paving, landscape and irrigation, electrical and other minor miscellaneous items noted on the drawings. Construction of grading, storm drainage, utilities, electrical, concrete work, asphalt, fencing, sport court surfacing, site lighting, irrigation, planting and possible add alternates of shade structures and fitness equipment. Time for Completion.The planned timeframe for work is between July 2025 through May 2026.Contract time to be Three Hundred (300) total calendar days with Ninety (90) of those days being maintenance days. License. This Project requires a valid California contractor’s license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor’s License. DIR Registration.Contractor must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal. Contract Documents. Bids are required for the entire project work and shall be made upon the Bid Forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements, available at City Engineer’s office or online at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR, applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Bonds.The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract Price. Substitution of Securities.Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code section 22300. Subcontractor List.
