The U.S. Army is seeking information to assess the availability of sources to meet the Government's requirement for the Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF). The Army plans to procure an estimated 411 LCRTF over a minimum of four, maximum of six, one-year periods. The information gathered through this questionnaire will be used to understand the availability and capabilities of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or other sources for vehicle systems meeting the LCRTF requirements, ancillary equipment, and system services. Key aspects of the LCRTF include: • Meeting the requirements of Automotive Tank Purchase Description (ATPD) 2392G • Having a lift capacity that meets the requirements of ATPD-2392G • Having a powertrain that meets the requirements of ATPD-2392G • Having a steering and drive configuration that meets the requirements of ATPD-2392G • Having a personnel cab configuration that meets the requirements of ATPD-2392G • Meeting the operational temperature requirement of controlling the vehicle at temperature extremes (-40 to +140 degrees Fahrenheit) • Complying with Electromagnetic Radiation Hazard (EMRADHAZ) in accordance with MIL-STD-464 sections 5.9, 5.9.1, 5.9.2, and 5.9.3 • Complying with the operating voltage limits and transient voltage characteristics in accordance with MIL-STD-1275 • Not requiring the use of asbestos, cadmium plating, or radioactive material • Having a welding procedure that conforms to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) or American Welding Society (AWS) codes • Having experience providing Department of the Army (DA) Technical Manuals (TM), including Operating Instructions, Maintenance Instructions, and Training Support Package (TSP) • Having experience providing a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) with appropriate Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to support PPL • Having experience providing a Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL) • Having experience providing a Tool Identification List (TIL) • Having experience providing schematics for fuel, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
