Description:
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is seeking information to support a future solicitation for the development of next-generation 3D heterogeneously integrated (3DHI) microsystems. The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify innovative applications that can leverage 3DHI, organizations interested in utilizing the Next Generation Microelectronics Manufacturing (NGMM) program's 3DHI capability, potential barriers to fabricating 3DHI components, and additional offerings that would promote the use of 3DHI and engagement with NGMM. Respondents are asked to provide information on specific dual-use or commercial applications, the design and fabrication of 3DHI components, and additional NGMM Center offerings needed for building 3DHI microsystems. • Identification of innovative applications that can leverage 3DHI • Identification of organizations interested in utilizing NGMM's 3DHI capability • Identification of potential barriers to fabricating 3DHI components • Identification of additional offerings that would further promote both the use of 3DHI and engagement with NGMM
