The New York City Police Pension Fund (NYCPPF) is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, install, integrate, maintain, and provide training for a comprehensive security-camera system upgrade and expansion at its headquarters and Disaster Recovery location. The objectives of this initiative include modernizing and enhancing the Fund's physical-security infrastructure, expanding video coverage to critical areas, integrating the upgraded camera system with existing access-control and building-management systems, and ensuring interoperability, cybersecurity compliance, and long-term maintainability of the system. The selected vendor will be required to provide a fully operational, scalable video-surveillance system, secure on-premises server and storage infrastructure, comprehensive project documentation, training materials, and support and maintenance plans. • The vendor must have experience with security camera system upgrades, installations, or integrations, particularly in secure government, financial, or law enforcement environments. • The vendor must provide a detailed line-item breakdown of equipment, installation, cabling, configuration, training, commissioning, and maintenance costs. • The vendor must comply with all applicable City IT security policies and standards, including secure application and system-network architecture, disaster-recovery planning, secure data storage and transmission, and encryption of sensitive data. • The vendor must provide a user-friendly interface for system operators and comprehensive training for security personnel. • The vendor must ensure the removal of all existing cameras and provide a plan for the disposal of hazardous materials.
