The County of Kauai is seeking a contractor to provide county-wide document scanning services. The contractor will be responsible for scanning and uploading documents to a secure cloud-based document repository, Laserfiche. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, hardware, and software to complete the services. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing documents for scanning, including removing staples and paper clips, and binding. The contractor must ensure the quality of the scanned images and provide a secure and dry location for storing the documents. • The contractor must scan documents at 300 DPI, Group IV Multi-page TIFF image with associated text file. • The contractor must provide metadata fields for each document. • The contractor must ensure the confidentiality and security of the documents. • The contractor must allow the County to verify the quality of the scanning process. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance completed by a duly authorized representative of their insurer. • The contractor must provide evidence of products/completed operations coverage for both ongoing operations and after substantial completion of the work.
