Description:
Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide elevator inspection, testing, maintenance, and repairs services for 18 passenger and 4 freight elevators and 3 chair lifts located across its main Asheville Campus and its Candler-Enka Campus. The contract term is for one year with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. The vendor must provide full-service maintenance, including services and goods, and meet all requirements and specifications outlined in the IFB. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing elevator inspection, testing, maintenance, and repairs services • Meeting all requirements and specifications outlined in the IFB • Providing full-service maintenance, including services and goods • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes • Maintaining elevators in a safe, functional, and compliant condition • Providing 5-year load testing for each elevator at the request of the A-B Tech Director of Safety and Facilities Support or the Executive Director of Facilities & Plant Operations
