The City of Orlando is seeking a qualified firm to provide computerized fountain maintenance, repairs, and related work for the City's fountain systems at Lake Eola. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing periodic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, computer programming, and cleaning tasks. The contract term is expected to be five years, with the option to renew for an additional 12 months. The contractor must have at least eight years of experience in maintaining computerized fountain systems similar to the ones at Lake Eola. Some key tasks include: • Daily visual inspections by Lake Eola Park staff • Weekly maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, cleaning filters, and replacing lights • Annual tasks such as performing VFD maintenance and inspection, and re-caulking dome seams • On-call services for after-hours, weekends, and holidays The City will provide a copy of the Fountains Operation and Maintenance manual to the selected contractor.
