The Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) is seeking a contractor to apply a 2-inch asphalt overlay to the existing asphalt portion of 6000 State Road, Memphis, Tennessee. The project includes replacing 13,525 square yards of 2-inch asphalt wearing course, 180 tons of asphalt patching, and 150 tons of asphalt bushing for drainage. The contractor will be responsible for milling existing surfaces, removing and replacing signage, mechanically broom sweeping all areas, cleaning the existing pavement with an air blower, patching and filling existing cracks and potholes, and adding a tack coat and wearing surface according to Tennessee Highway Standards.
