The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to remove, dispose of, and replace thirteen roll-up doors at the Intermountain Conservation Camp. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to complete the work. The project requires a mandatory pre-bid walk-through and written questions must be submitted by March 19, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. • The contractor must have a valid C61/D28 – Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor license issued by the California State Licensing Board (CSLB). • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes, including prevailing wage rates and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must provide a Payment Bond for not less than 100% of the total amount payable by the terms of the Agreement if the bid exceeds $25,000. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with all insurance requirements. • The contractor must comply with all environmental regulations and obtain necessary permits. • The contractor must provide a Camp Access Clearance Form for all employees who will be working on the project.
