Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified General Contracting company to upgrade the existing Nurse Call infrastructure at the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center in Montana. The project includes the installation of new-generation equipment, additional pull cord installations, and upgrades to the existing system. The contractor will be required to work with the authorized Rauland Ametek dealer/installer for the region and ensure that all new components integrate and operate with the existing system. The project is expected to be completed within 40 calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • Furnishing and installing equipment, signal/control raceway, backbox, and wire where necessary • Supplying and installing additional Rauland Responder 5 Waterproof Pull Cord Stations • Upgrading Responder 4 systems to Responder 5 in patient rooms • Coordinating with the Construction Officer Representative (COR) for the placement of pull cord installations and upgrades • Providing a detailed construction schedule and attending weekly meetings • Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all Federal, State, and Local safety laws, rules, and regulations
