The Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) is seeking bids for the Guadalupe River Line Valve Vault Platform and Ladder Upgrade project. The project involves the installation and/or modification of an access platform in an existing utility vault near the City of San Jose, CA. The selected contractor will be responsible for mobilizing necessary equipment, materials, and personnel to execute the project within the specified timeline and in compliance with all applicable regulations. The key aspects of the project include: • Installation and/or modification of an access platform in an existing utility vault • Mobilization of necessary equipment, materials, and personnel • Execution of the project within the specified timeline and in compliance with all applicable regulations • Compliance with the Valley Water contract and the terms and conditions outlined in the ITB • Possession of a valid California State Class General Contractor’s License at the time of bid submission and throughout the Contract term • Adherence to the prevailing wage rates as established by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations • Registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 • Furnishing a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, both in the amounts not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract amount.
