The selected vendors will provide interpretation, translation, and related support on an on-call basis, with a strong emphasis on cultural responsiveness, quality assurance, and inclusive communication. The services include spoken language interpretation, sign language interpretation, written translation, and transcreation services. The vendors will support the County's compliance with legal mandates and contribute to broader language justice initiatives. • The County prioritizes services in both core and non-core languages based on demographic data, community needs, and service delivery requirements. • The County seeks vendors with experience working with public and/or nonprofit clients of comparable size and complexity. • The County requires vendors to have a commitment to client confidentiality, informed consent, impartiality, and equitable access to services. • The County expects vendors to provide quarterly reports including language(s) requested, service type and delivery mode, requesting department and program area, and other data points.
