The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a contractor to provide tree removal services for dead and damaged trees on hospital property. The contractor will be required to remove dead and damaged trees, as well as damaged limbs, using cranes, saws, stump grinders, and other necessary equipment. The contractor will also be responsible for restoring the area to its original beauty and ensuring that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner. • The contract period will be from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with three option years. • The contractor will be required to mobilize and report within one hour of notification by the Contracting Officer's Representative. • All work will be performed in the order prescribed by the VA using a checklist and plot plan. • The contractor will be required to check in and out through the Police Department and receive an Occupancy Badge. • A walk-through will be done with the contractor and the COR after each day of the tree removal project.
