Sam Houston State University is seeking a qualified contractor to provide and install an LED Display System on a "turnkey basis" for Bowers Stadium. The system should include all labor, equipment, tools, material, engineering, supervision, licenses, insurance, permits, and bonds to engineer, manufacture, and install a fully integrated and operational system. The contractor will be responsible for designing, engineering, building, delivering, installing, integrating, and commissioning the complete turnkey display system. The project includes structural, electrical, and aesthetic considerations, as well as training and testing requirements. • The contractor must provide a complete, workable, and operational system, including all peripheral elements. • The contractor is responsible for taking all seismic, wind, and environmental considerations into account and making structural provisions for any such requirements. • The contractor must provide remote power on/off capability for each LED display and ensure that all connections use proper terminal blocks and spade terminals. • The contractor is responsible for providing stamped electrical drawings and ensuring that all equipment meets the required certifications. • The contractor must provide operator and maintenance training for designated university employees and ensure that the system is fully functional and meets the contractual specifications.
