Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from qualified vendors to provide Building Automation System (BAS) sustainment, maintenance, repair, and lifecycle support for the American Lake VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes providing 24/7 technical support, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and repair, replacement of retired or end-of-life hardware, system performance optimization, digital twin and analytics, and configuration control and documentation. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, proprietary software access, and technical expertise necessary to perform the services. The contract is expected to be a base + (optional) 4 year contract. Key points to consider: • The BAS system supports clinical, administrative, and infrastructure operations • The system includes proprietary hardware, firmware, software, and system architecture components • The contractor will be required to provide support for multiple BAS manufacturers • The contractor will be required to provide analytics-based monitoring of system performance, alarms, and asset health • The contractor will be required to provide written recommendations for energy efficiency, reliability improvements, risk mitigation, and lifecycle extension strategies
