The City of Las Cruces is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in entering into an agreement for property management services for the Amador Crossing Apartments, a 50-unit affordable housing project. The selected firm will be responsible for managing the property, including marketing, leasing, and maintenance, as well as providing services to residents. The firm will work closely with the City and the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope (MVCH) to ensure the success of the project. The project has a 20-year affordability period, and the selected firm will be required to comply with all relevant City ordinances and regulations. • The project is a 2-story secured building that will provide housing to small households and individuals who are at-risk or currently experiencing homelessness. • The project has a primary focus on those with less than 80% Area Median Income (AMI). • The property management firm will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping and ensuring that the property is properly insured. • The firm will be required to submit regular reports, including a management plan, operating budget, and quarterly financial reports. • The firm will be expected to work closely with MVCH and the City to develop property management operations, a tenant selection plan, and a resident retention plan. • The firm will be required to comply with all Civil Rights Laws and establish a written equal opportunity employment policy.
