The State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide on-call electrical maintenance services in St. Mary's County, Maryland. The services include repairs and maintenance of all electrical systems associated with office buildings or other State-owned buildings and facilities, emergency response, possible design, installation, maintenance, reconditioning, replacement, diagnostic, troubleshooting, or repairs that may be required. The contractor will be expected to perform the required electrical services from verbal request instructions/descriptions. • The contractor must maintain a current active State of Maryland Master Electrician License. • The contractor must have been in the commercial electrical business for a minimum of five years and have available a minimum workforce of two State of Maryland licensed commercial journeyman electricians with a minimum of five years commercial electrical experience. • The contractor must provide documentation of business license and licensed electricians prior to award of contract. • The contractor must employ an electrician apprentice with a minimum of one year experience and/or an electrician's helper to assist in various tasks. • The contractor must be fully qualified to legally provide the services detailed in this contract within the State of Maryland. • The contractor must comply with all federal, State, and local laws applicable to its activities and obligations under the contract.
