Description:
The City of Phoenix is seeking a contractor to provide electric meter testing, calibration, and repair services for a five-year contract term. The contractor will be responsible for testing, calibrating, and repairing electrical meters used by City personnel, as well as providing scheduled service, pick-up and delivery of meters, and support services. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must meet certain certification and accreditation requirements. • The contractor must test and calibrate all electrical meters per National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Standards. • The contractor must own and have immediate access to appropriate testing equipment to properly calibrate and repair according to ANSI/ISO 17025-2017. • The contractor must provide scheduled service, including battery replacement, and perform electrical meter service annually. • The contractor must provide pick-up and delivery of meters from each of the City of Phoenix locations at no additional charge.
