The Town of Apple Valley is seeking a construction management consultant to provide professional and technical services for the rehabilitation and widening of the Bear Valley Road Bridge over the Mojave River. The project includes rehabilitation and seismic retrofit of the existing bridge, widening to accommodate six travel lanes, and construction of a multi-use path and sidewalks. The consultant will be responsible for construction management services, including inspection, survey, quality control, environmental monitoring, and administrative services. The project is expected to start in December 2025 and be completed in April 2028. • The project requires compliance with all applicable Town, Caltrans, and Federal standards and regulations. • The consultant must have experience with similar projects and must be able to demonstrate their understanding of the scope of work and approach to providing the services. • The project has a 20% DBE goal for construction management services. • The consultant must be able to provide a detailed time schedule for all project activities and must be able to estimate their time involvement in various activities. • The consultant must be able to provide a detailed listing of all information and services to be provided by the Town. • The consultant must be able to provide a certificate of insurance with a minimum aggregate coverage of $2,000,000 for professional errors and omissions and general liability.
