The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for three buildings at the Lassen Modoc Unit (LMU) in Susanville, California. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to perform weekly and bi-weekly janitorial services. The services include emptying and cleaning waste baskets, dusting and spot cleaning furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms. The contractor must also provide a monthly report detailing the number of covered employees, hours worked, and wages and benefits paid. The contract is for a period of three years, with an estimated start date of April 1, 2026. • The contractor must be a California Certified Small Business. • The contractor must provide proof of valid Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Janitorial Registration. • The contractor must maintain its status as a DGS certified SB/MB or DVBE throughout the term of the agreement. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, city, and county laws, rules, or regulations affecting the work. • The contractor must cooperate with CAL FIRE authorities and observe and comply with all regulations presently in force on CAL FIRE grounds.
