The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is soliciting proposals to provide a Survivor Clinical Center of Excellence (CCE) for the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP). The CCE will provide healthcare services, including health monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment, to eligible Survivors of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks residing in the New York Metropolitan Area. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. The successful Offeror will be required to provide a transition plan, including a technical and management transition approach, and to ensure a smooth transition of all tasks and subtasks without interruption or degradation of service levels. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing healthcare services to eligible Survivors • Developing a transition plan for the transition-in and transition-out phases of the contract • Ensuring a smooth transition of all tasks and subtasks without interruption or degradation of service levels • Providing a technical and management transition approach • Including all transition costs within the cost proposal • Complying with the Service Contract Labor Standards of the Service Contract Act • Identifying whether proposed labor categories are exempt or non-exempt from the Service Contract Act and submitting the most current corresponding Service Act Wage Determination(s)
