Description:
The Middlesex County Department of Public Safety and Health, Office of Adult Corrections Center and Youth Services is seeking bids for Inmate Commissary Services. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a percentage of gross sales to the County. The bidder must also comply with all laws relating to sale of and purchase by County Governments and Municipal Corporations. Some key responsibilities of the successful bidder include: providing service five days per week, submitting a holiday schedule work plan, and integrating their processes with the current and future Jail Management Systems. • The bidder must provide a facility-wide banking software with specific functionality, including digital onsite and offsite remote deposits into an inmate's account. • The bidder must provide Kiosks in the Receiving and Discharge area as well as the main lobby. • The bidder must provide a list of references for Inmate Commissary Services of at least 600 inmates and similar scope of service. • The bidder must supply all pedigree information of any employee or subcontracted vendor who is designated to do work within the facilities upon awarding of the bid.
