The US Army is seeking information about agitating parts washers for cleaning aircraft wheel components. The washer should have a mechanical agitation platform, a platform weight capacity of at least 150 lbs, and a platform size of at least 22” x 14”. It should also be compatible with approved cleaning solutions and have an integrated heating system. The contractor should provide training on the operation and maintenance of the washer. • The washer should be able to clean various aircraft wheel components such as bearings, nuts, bolts, and retaining rings. • The washer should have a removable or adjustable parts basket/tray and powered lid(s) for associated cleaning tank(s). • The washer should have automatic fill and overfill protection with automatic shut off and a user-friendly control panel. • The washer should have an emergency stop switch and heavy-duty construction. • The washer should have a 100-gallon fluid tank and insulation on modules where practical.
