The project involves subsoiling along FS road 46 in the Willamette National Forest to reduce fuel loads and promote forest health. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items and non-personal services necessary to complete the project. The project includes 9 base acres and 8 optional acres across 12 work units. The contractor will be required to submit a traffic control plan and provide daily progress reports. The project is expected to start on the date of award and be completed by May 15, 2026. Key aspects of the project include: • Subsoiling to a depth of 20 inches without soil mixing • Redistribution of downed woody debris • Chipping of excess material • Traffic control along FS road 46 • Compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Willamette National Forest Commercial Road Rules The contractor will be required to have an experienced equipment operator and personnel to manage road traffic and ensure safety.
