The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate with Gold Standard Diagnostics Horsham, LLC for the procurement of Abraxis Microcystin ELISA kits and Abraxis Saxitoxin ELISA kits. The kits are required for the monitoring of harmful algal blooms in the Great Lakes region. The Abraxis Microcystin (ADDA) ELISA test kits have been used by NOAA since 2009 and are also used by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and multiple water treatment plants around the Lake Erie basin. The kits meet all specifications, including a detection limit of 0.1 ppb or lower and a standard range between 0-5 ppb or greater. The Abraxis Saxitoxin ELISA kits recognize saxitoxin and have a standard range between 0-40 ppb. • The kits are in a 96 well plate format. • The kits have a detection limit of 0.1 ppb or lower for Microcystin and recognize saxitoxin for Saxitoxin kits. • The kits have a standard range between 0-5 ppb or greater for Microcystin and 0-40 ppb for Saxitoxin. • The kits are required for the monitoring of harmful algal blooms in the Great Lakes region. • The kits meet all specifications and are proprietary to Gold Standard Diagnostics Horsham, LLC.
