The City of Fulshear is seeking a qualified contractor to provide term contract services for waterline maintenance. The scope of work includes fire hydrant repairs, valve installation and repairs, water and service line repairs, and water line excavation. The contractor will be required to maintain and repair water system infrastructure. The evaluation criteria for this proposal include experience and references (30%), services offered and ability to meet the requirements (20%), and total cost for services (50%). • The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total contract sum, if the total accepted bid price exceeds $50,000. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs. • The contractor must provide insurance, including commercial general liability insurance, umbrella liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must pay prevailing wages to its employees. • The contractor must not boycott Israel or energy companies. • The contractor must comply with the Texas Public Information Act. • The contractor must provide a certificate of interested parties, as required by the Texas Ethics Commission. The City of Fulshear reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and the evaluation team may conduct oral presentations with the top-rated firms.
