The Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development is seeking a contractor to perform vacant unit preparations for 25 units throughout the county. The scope of work includes building, electrical, and plumbing work, as well as other ancillary trades and items required to deliver a habitable unit. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits, providing all materials and labor, and ensuring that the work is performed to the best standards of workmanship and applicable codes. Some of the specific tasks include: • Cleaning and removing trash and debris • Patching and repairing walls and ceilings • Installing new vinyl tile and painting • Repairing or replacing doors, windows, and hardware • Installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops • Repairing or replacing plumbing and electrical systems • Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with Florida Building Code and other applicable codes and regulations.
