The Virginia Tech Athletics Department is seeking a turnkey solution to upgrade its existing video board, including peripherals and audio, within Lane Stadium. The upgrade will include updating the existing video boards' screen and electrical infrastructure, upgrading the stadium's existing audio system and controls, modernizing the existing scoring and timing solution, and replacing all existing "Delay of Game" and Locker Room clocks. The proposal should include a structural analysis, stamped by a licensed engineer within the State of Virginia, to ensure that the proposed video board solution and audio offering will fit within the existing footprint of the current video board and that the existing structure will be able to support it. • The proposed solution must fit into the current Video Board footprint, with a size of 95.75’ X 45.35’. • The proposed solution must have a 10MM Pixel Pitch and 8,000-10,000 NITS. • The proposed solution must have the capability to integrate Ross Tessera video striping solution across the main display over 1080p SDI video input(s) for in-game production from the in-house control room. • The proposed solution shall include an all-in-one backup solution for displaying practice scoring/timing data and local video input sources for practices, recruiting, and other University events. • The proposed solution shall have remote power on/off switches over armored fiber for backlit or channel letter signage/main video display/main scoreboard speakers/amplifiers.
